question bout the 50k exp from doppleganger - Guild Wars Forums

Ok so I looked around the forumd and there didn't seem to be a question like this so I felt since it hadn't alreayd been posted and didn't know if it was a bug or not that I should post it. Earlier today i beat the doppleganger and recieved 50k exp plus 1k from beating it in 50 secs. I am level and as you know after level 20 instead of lvling up, in place of that you get 1 skill point for what would have been a new lvl. Well I got the exp and went up around 3 lvls but didn't get any skill points. Is that pug or is it just that way?

I'm not entirely sure I follow, but you mean you are level 20 received 50k experience and didn't gain any skill points? If English is your first language please put a little more effort in writing as parts of this are hard to follow. Though if it is a second or later language - well then good job, better than I would do

If so - are you *certain* you got the 50k exp - that is was it reported both on the screen and in the chat window? If you have "ascended" in any of the other chapters you will not receive the exp bonus. That should be a little over three skill points earned - I have received mine on all characters that have received the bonus (included a recent Canthan Ranger that Ascended before getting Weh No Su). If I had realized this I would have Ascended my Dervish as soon as I had access to the Consulate Docks, at the time I thought that foreign characters never get the bonus exp.

At the least you should have received a skill point for a mission/bonus completion.

Well you don't get one for completing, I have rea daround forums and you don't but yes i saw the 50k exp on the screen and got it in game cuz I have 51k more exp now. (1k extra for bonus). I didn't get any skill points. but i gained "skill point lvls".
